Regulation Workshop for Parents of Children with Autism
We are delighted announce the following workshop in Cobh Community Centre on Wednesday September 20th at 7:30pm
Emotional Regulation and Autistic Children/Teens workshop. Hosted by Deirdre Ryan, MSc.Ed. Deirdre is a Neuro Affirming Austistic Parent Coach and Educator
This workshop is for parents/guardians of autistic children. We will discuss how best to understand and support Autistic children/teens and ourselves in regards to overwhelming emotions and regulation. Participants will have practical ideas to try.

The following courses will be rolled out between now and November for up to 6 weeks:
Health and Wellbeing - Sept 26th 9:30am - 11:30am for 6 weeks
Baby Massage - Sept 27th 9:30am - 11am for 5 weeks
Computers for Beginners - Sept 27th - 7pm-9pm for 6 weeks
Flower Arranging (Incorporating Halloween and Christmas arrangements) - Oct 12th 7pm-9pm for 6 weeks
Painting and Mixed Media for Beginners - Nov 9th 9:30am-11:30am for 6 weeks

Sustainability Awareness Course
Leading to
Level 4 QQI
Special Purpose Award
Environmental Sustainability Awareness
This 15-week course will be held in Cobh Family resource Centre beginning Wednesday evening October 18th
This programme aims to help the learner to:
· Outline the principal effects that human activities have on the environment
· Examine the key national, European, and global measures that have been taken to address environmental issues
· Identify the main environmental impacts of these issues and the challenges they pose for an individual at a local level
· Explore a range of sustainable practices and actions that can be implemented at individual and community level.
